Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Systems Administrator to support and manage the daily operation, reliability, and security of our company’s information systems across our Athens and Patras offices.
The ideal candidate will have the necessary experience to work independently, organize, and implement standardized IT procedures, ensuring that they are consistently followed across the organization.
This role combines hands-on technical support and systems administration, aiming to maintain users and devices, enhance security, automate processes, and support the company’s digital collaboration tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, servers, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Manage and optimize Office 365, Asana, and SoftOne ERP platforms – including account management, access rights, and integrations.
- Ensure system reliability and data protection, including backup, antivirus, and network security procedures.
- Maintain and update the IT equipment inventory (computers, peripherals, software licenses, network devices).
- Configure and maintain Wi-Fi networks, VPNs, and shared storage between company sites.
- Define and document standardized IT procedures (e.g., onboarding, access management, security policies).
- Identify and implement automation solutions for repetitive IT tasks.
- Collaborate with external IT service providers and vendors.
- Strengthen cybersecurity through MFA policies, password management, updates, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Office 365 administration, and basic networking principles.
- Experience supporting collaboration and ERP tools (Asana, SoftOne, or similar).
- Understanding of data protection, backup, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
